So, my brother was playing casually on minecraft, running an HD Texture Pack with MCPatcher, and the FPS drops from 60 to 15 and stayed there everytime he logged on, he is complaining a lot and it started getting on my nerves, I installed 64 bit java for him, and it went from 15 to 35, we uninstalled unneeded programs and cleared his downloads. Still, same result, 35 FPS,

HD textures require higher amount of rendering, therefore the graphics card will not render as fast, lowering your fps
