Hi there, I've tried researching this problem but near to nothing comes up, apart from one person saying to turn on VBOs, which I've already done yet the problem still occurs. During a session of playing, my game randomly freezes and I no longer have visuals on the game because the screen is frozen, yet I have discovered that the game itself doesn't crash because I can still move my player in game and type in chat etc even if I can't see it myself due to my visuals being frozen. There's no crash report or anything, I just have to ALT+F4 to get out of the game, or if I press ESC / T (to msg) then my cursor appears and I can manually exit from the game. I've tried updating my drivers; I have a feeling this problem connects to a recent update my laptop did overnight since the problem never happened before then. Is there anything you know about this? Can you help me fix it? Many thanks.

Have you tried reinstalling minecraft, updating java?

I've tried both of those. I would just uninstall the update, however it took about 4+ hours to install because it happened overnight which is why I haven't done it, may have to though, but surely there's a way to fix it, rather than backtracking?
Did this just suddenly happen?
It started occurring after my laptop did a big update. I'm on Windows 10; the update it did was "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3176936)".
