MINECRAFT HELP PLZ PLZ READ

when i tired to update my minecraft it freezes then it usually says unable to lanch or something like that so i deleted my minecraft and .minecraft then redownloaded it again but this time it just says loading news were the update news is ment to be and when i login it freezes ive tried reinstalling minecraft many times and restarting my computer refreshed the internet and looked up tutorials but nothing but one time when i watched a guy named henry the coder he showed me the samething i do every time like setting the path and installing java but that time it i did it seemed to worked and i could use minecraft and my other java programs but the next day i couldnt play minecraft im pretty sure it has something to do whith setting the path or installing java
i have windows 7 and have java JDK 1.7.0_11 and Java JRE-7u11

delete .minecraft folder then try again that works for me
Are you connected to a reliable, working internet?
When a game freezes most time its a uncompatible thing. Goto options in the launcher click force update and then login. Otherwise try to reinstall java. If thats not working maybe use MagicLauncher(just google it)
