Minecraft Installation Problems Help Please!!
I had some trouble with minecraft mods a while back (I had clicked a button on MCA it froze and crashed) and I thought id just boot it back up again and get going again but it wouldn't open up my game the launcher would open but the game wouldn't
So thinking it would be easy to delete MC and redownload I tried to do that but when ever I open up Minecraft.exe I get this Error Message

Unable to update the Minecraft Game Launcher
and I tried re-downloading the exe file and that didn't work and nether did the Installer Package
I am on Windows 7
Any help would be hella appreciated Q~Q

Did you try the .jar launcher instead of the .exe?
I don't know where I would get that I've downloaded both thingys of the download page on Minecraft.net and neither works I don't know what I'm doing wrong Q~Q
i'm in windows and go to 4shared type minecraft found rar file click setup or whatever
