There is , Since you made an Internet Protocol change , You must now delete and reinstall minecraft due to servers not recognizing your ip as said in the error message!

Minecraft java.comConnectionException:Connection timed out

The "ConnectionException" Means it cannot find an available Internet Protocol to read off of, Therefore you must reinstall!

It has nothing to do with the IP.
ConnectionException is an exception class that throws an exception with the message! The message says it! Connection timed out = It's connecting but it's taking too long so Minecraft stops connecting and instead it's displaying this message.

Back to thread starter:
Try to disable the firewall.

Again , a fire wall is used to protect outside malware from getting into your computers database Minecraft is an inside program with little to no third-parties which will give no reason for a "CONNECTION EXCEPTION"!!!!!!Except for an Internet Protocol Block.

Tryhard computer technician. I am an Java developer for over 2+ years. I am an expert in developing software and an advanced computer technician. A connection exception is an network exception thrown by the code with an message. Read the message. "Connection timed out" = Connection took too much time so it cancels connecting to the server.

A firewall is used to protect malware from getting into your computer, yes, but a firewall blocks specific applications (like Minecraft) to protect your computer because it's sending packets over the network, and some viruses use them to spread into other computers via LAN, and some firewalls think that Minecraft is malicious BECAUSE of the packets.

An IP has nothing to do with it. It's used to identify and locate your computer/printer/whatever, it's not used for Minecraft to connect to servers, and an IP address cannot give you this error message because it only has two roles: host or network interface identification and location addressing, not for connecting to the entire internet or Minecraft servers. And: you always have an IP when you are connected to the internet because the computer retrieves the IP from your router. So it doesn't make any sense with "it cannot find an available Internet Protocol to read off of, Therefore you must reinstall!".

Please go to an computer technician school before you help someone when you have no actual knowledge about computers.

So what you will have to do here is ,

Download and reinstall minecraft launcher (Due to the ip change : The server do not match your ip with your mc character//

Then proceed to download java 64 bit for better game play and reduced lagg.

https://www.java.com/en/download/windows_manual.jsp\

Click on "Windows Offline (64-bit)" And install it!

You have absolutely no knowledge about computers, don't you?

To thread starter: Try updating your network drivers (WiFi/Ethernet). It looks like an firewall issue, try to disable your firewall.

As i said in my first thread, If you experience an IP (Internet Protocol) Change, This error will occur due to minecraft not being able to match your minecraft character to your ip address. And for someone who's dad was a tech president , He would be disappointed in me .....

That doesn't even make sense.
If your IP changes, it doesn't matter, it will not affect something.

Back to thread starter:
Seems like your firewall is blocking connection to the MC servers. Try disabling it, and if it doesn't work then it has something to do with your internet router blocking it.

Do you have any mods? Because if you do then maybe the mods are crashing your game.
