What graphics card and CPU are you running, and how much Ram do you have? If we know that, we should be able to tell you if it's underpowered hardware or another issue.

Its because of the way its coded
Java edition is just a complicated mess of code where the developers just add content to it without going back and optimising it.
Bedrock is way less laggier due to the devs having optimisation in mind
