Minecraft launcher grey screen
When I open the app, it displays a grey screen. So far I've tried restarting, uninstalling and checking Java for updates. What should I do next?

How did you fix it I also have been having this issue for a few months now, I can only see the launcher if my computer is plugged into an external monitor

You can always try to use a 3rd party launcher https://multimc.org/ for example. Also I don't remember for sure if when you uninstall Minecraft if it deletes the ".minecraft" folder in "appdata roaming". Maybe uninstall and make sure that is deleted so it can regenerate a new folder.
I wouldn't want to use a 3rd party one, but how would you check if the .minecraft folder is deleted?
i would not recommended using a 3rd party launcher, they can steal your info or put viruses and etc on your computer. plus, i dont think you could get help from mojang after using one
What launcher should I do? Official alternate or what? Plus how would i check if everything is deleted so i can properly reinstall it?
i would keep using the official one, and see if you can contact mojang about this. if they do respond it will probably take a bit before they respond
