I run Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion. When I try to open the launcher it stops loading and shows a somewhat transparent question mark. I have got the Java update and redownloaded Minecraft many times. Can someone please HELP ME?!?

1. go to your desktop.
2.click "go" @ at the top
3.click "go to folder"
4.type this: "~/Library/"
5.Select "Application Support"
6.delete the minecraft folder.
7.delete minecraft.app (Im you applications)
8. redownload minecraft
i'm not sure this will work but go to search, write run then enter %appdata%.
When you do that open .minecraft and place your worlds on your desktop.
To finish delete .minecraft and try to run minecraft. Good Luck.

This wont work. You are trying to send him to a windows location. He stated that he was running mac.
