For awhile now my Minecraft launcher has been actin weird. Some of the things to do to actually launch the game are, run it as administrator, and restart my computer, or even shut it down several times to make it launch. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, and make sure that the permissions are not blocking me from launching Minecraft, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone else seem to have this?

What do you mean by the launcher "acting weird?" Does the launcher stop responding when you start it? Does the game crash while it's loading?
I mean, when I press play, it loads, but doesnt launch the game at all. It just sets on the launcher page. If I press play again, it acts like it is running and warns me about starting another game in the backround, but when i open task manager only the launcher is running. Like i said I have to run it as admin, and restart or even shut down my PC fully several times to try to get it running

I have PC Matic that does the same thing and actually just had it cleaned up from a shop and the problem still goes on.
also what os do you use?
