When I go into full-screen in Minecraft, a good amount of the screen that should be visible is taken off of the sides. I think the problem is that my laptop's screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio, meaning it is not widescreen. The only fix I have found is to go into windowed full-screen. I'd prefer not to have to do this and have it in borderless mode. Is this possible without the cut off parts? Is there maybe a way to create some black bars at the top and bottom to make it widescreen. If it helps, I am using Windows 10, Minecraft 1.11.2, and Optifine 1.11.2 B5. Thanks!

When you first start your launcher, at the screen where you login (the screen with the big PLAY button). Before you hit Play, go to Edit Profile instead. Two boxes, look and make sure 'Resolution' is unchecked.
