i have not been able to find out how to fix this. i don't have any mods installed and it just wont load i need HELP!

I have had this problem before, and this always works:
Go to your minecraft folder, and just delete the bin folder. Then launch minecraft, and it will give you a new bin folder, and no more black screen. This has happened to me many times.

I've had this problem before, usually it is some other mod or texture pack that is conflicting with minecraft. If forcing update doesn't work, just delete your .minecraft folder and re-install completely. That always works for me.
Open the bin folder ("%appdata%\roaming\.Minecraft\bin") and delete the "version" file.

I really don't know whats wrong i did what you told me and when its done updating it just goes black.
