Is there any possible way to get the blindness potion? I heard you have to get mods, but I want to get one without mods. Thanks

Nuketune+, Vrakonis does not want to use a mod "but I want to get one without mods" but since that's not impossible, a mod would be the best way to go. unless you want to use the Effect commands.
Get the minecraft mod "ToManyItems."
It doesn't do anything but allow you to give yourself items from a item menu as well as create custom potions with custom effects and custom names. You can then save the potion to the mods "favorites" tab so you can then give yourself said potion instantly.

More specifically /effect [player name/command block target parameters] 15 [duration in seconds] [number between 1-127, strength of effect doesn't work for blindness].

You can use the /effect command in single player. Other than that, you need a mod.
