Minecraft 1.6.1/1.6.2 Refreshing bug

Hey, recently I have been playing the new Minecraft version, and I noticed it barely even works. You see, when I try to type something, such as adding a server to the server list, or trying to talk to friends, Minecraft keeps refreshing, creating a flashing, white light. This resets the thing in that I just wrote, and it is getting to the point where I can't even play multiplayer. =(

If you are wondering, Minecraft doesn't crash or anything, it just keeps spamming itself, which is very annoying. I am running on Windows 7, with the most latest version of Java. I have never had this problem before, and when I play on the older version, the glitch doesn't happen. I am hoping that someone could shed some light onto why this is happening, or even better, how to fix this bug.

PS- The solution will only work on Windows 7 operating machines. If your device it operating on something else, then it will most likely not work. Good luck.

You need to get to around level 3-5, not sure which level, but you will get there. =)

EDIT- I tried the ideas given by the website, and they didn't work at all, anyother ideas? =(

Weird o.o I haven't updated yet but maybe later today This could be your graphic card or IG bug. Anyways do what link said It's for the best!

Thanks for the fast reply, it turns out I'm not the only one suffering from this. An admin on the site DarkFadeLink had provided (Thank you so much ^-^) said that java may be out of date, so I will update it later. I will post back and tell you whether or not it worked. =)
