This honestly makes no sense to me. I played on this server (VGMCraft) and they have a bunch of plugins like Essentials, PermissionsEX, and Factions. The thing is these plugins are made for the 1.0.1 R1 and they are a 1.1 R1 server. I've searched everywhere for unofficial 1.1 copies of these plugins, but I can't find them. Can someone post these links or tell me how this is possible? Thanks!

Essentials works for 1772 (Which is what i have)

Plugins don't have to update for every build. Some of them can just slap on a [1770] and that'll do them just fine.

This. Most plugins from old builds will work fine unless there has been a major change in the architecture. Often they will still work, they just might have a few bugs.
I have a 1.1 bukkit server and I have plugins that are made for 1.0.0 that work!

Give these plugins 1-2 weeks for them to update. As a developer is takes a few days to come up with a build and run through tests to sort out bugs. Give them some time, especially with non-popular plugins they tend to update more slowly than the more popular plugins.
