Minecraft server internet problem
What makes it possible that if I go up to a Minecraft server, my ping will simply go up into the skies and the internet will completely crash? on other servers (hypixel, etc.) the ping is perfectly fine, the net does not freeze.
This also happens when I am alone on the server.
I live nearby the server machine.
My friends use same internet, and live in same city, and they doesent have problem with internet / ping.
If I leave the server, the internet / ping will work normally right away.
The server run in 1.16.5, and have 8GB of ram.

By ping do you mean ping in minecraft? Or general ping through a browser speedtest or someth like that.
What is your pc specs and server specs (without ram because you just stated that)

Overall ping, the internet will be completely unusable.

Are you running the server on the same computer you play minecraft with?

Have you checked your output log and seen anything suspicious in terms of player connection? Also check the server log.
Because this lag only applies to you, you may need to write to the hosters or change server providers

I rent from a service provider.
Wait you rent from an online hoster?
This will complicate things a lot more because theres more things we dont know about.
For all we know it could be a crappy provider.
Try other server providers like aternos or minehut and see how they go.
Also if you have another computer try starting a local server there and connect using its ip

I tired at the aternos and no problem with that.
Had you checked your internet speed?
Internet speed will massively slow down if there is a lot of ping. The more ping there is, the more information is lost, and therefore the less speed is counted.
From their description, they also claim that their internet speed is fine when playing major servers like Hypixel

I don't think we have a problem with internet speed because there are no problems with the other servers
So write to the server provider
But my friends live in same city, and they have same internet, and they doesen't have problems, with the server
