Minecraft username wont change

im trying to change my minecraft username, for reasons.

everything i look at, everywhere i go, it always says click on your username, but it doesn't show my username??

i've logged out a million times pretty much and my username isn't popping up and i've even tried in the launcher.

i haven't seen any questions about it yet and i'm just gonna wait a little longer until i contact support (i don't know if they deal with situations like these)

edit: for clarification i can find my username but it tells me it wont change it for whatever reason

edit 2: it worked just restarted my pc
