hello pmc so recently i got this error
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.
while trying to run minecraft. i updated my video card drivers and im not using a nvidia graphics card. please help

My Dell computer never gets this error [graphics are rated 4.5]
My desktop has the latest Java,and I watched all of the one for Windows XP and put the slider to below half but no OpenGL and I dont know how to unistall video card drivers

I have never heard of a DxDiag related crash occur.
Because it's a diagnostic tool, not the resolve, or the cause of the crash. The user is having issues with starting the game, with the error 'It could not find an accelerated OpenGL mode", which would mean the drivers installed (which can be viewed via the log), are having issues, or do not support OpenGL.
Please provide your DxDiag log.

Try Uninstalling the video card driver completely and then re-installing it rather then just updating.
