Minecraft will not detect my server

Hello! I require aid with my server. I've redownloaded minecaft + server, opened the server as well as Logmein Hamachi, and changed the servers IP (in the notepad) to my logmein hamachi IP, and opened minecraft and made a server with my logmein hamachi ip address, and it would not detect it... very frustrating.


ALSO

why is Mojang not fixing the servers log issues... I'm still not seeing any logs after like.. 2 updates.
