I've updated my computer to Windows 8 and I tried re-downloading Minecraft. It downloaded fine, but when I ran it, I logged on and it said that my video card drives were broken. Is this problem fixable at all?

Yeah Minecraft doesn't work on Windows 8, they say it doesn't meet the "requirements".
