Hello Miners,
I use custom launcher for minecraft version 1.7.2. I wanted to add some mods to the game by copying them to mod folder. I tried different mods, but none works.
Please help.

Alright,
I'm using KeiNett Custom launcher. It works great with different forge version.
Before I was using Simple Minecraft Launcher with 10.x.x.12 version of Forge.

Closed this thread can be.

Ok. I used normal launcher. The effect is just the same.

The reason why I'm using custom launcher is that I'm used to it. It's simple and not so advertised as the official one.
But as I say, the problem is not the launcher. It's java, game or my OS.

The mods I try to run is for example Voxelmap or Minecraft Comes Alive. Both compatible with 1.7.2.
My Forge version is 10.12.0.1012.

I put mods in mod folder, as I always did and it worked when I played 1.6.4 half year ago.

try using the normal launcher, and not to be rude, but why use a custom launcher in the first place?

what mods are you installing?
are they 1.7 compatible?
are you using the correct version of forge?
are you installing the mods correctly?

have you tried launching the mods in the normal launcher instead of a custom launcher? the normal launcher is much more reliable

Ok, i tried to put optifine in mods folder. It worked. I don't know why, but it worked just fine.
Does anyone know what should I do? Maybe you see something else in my log?
Please help.

You mean

JVM Flags: 2 total; -Xmx4000m -Xmx512M ?

I deleted the second one. Now it's

JVM Flags: 2 total; -Xmx4000m.

The problem is still occuring. What can I do?

I want to say that Minecraft is not launching only when I pust any mod in the mod folder. I just see black window and it shuts down without ant text, error.

Check your allocation flags. They look to be conflicting at first glance.
