It turns out my version of PC has no video card drivers for Windows 8, or even 7! Good thing I have a disc for XP in my basement... I will be reverting soon.
Your harddrive has nothing to do with you not being able to play Minecraft, nor does your version of Windows. The error is updating your video card drivers, and if there is no later update (Windows won't find one if yours is the latest) that means you need a new video card. A newer version of Windows, means nothing it has nothing to do with the speed of your PC, the internal componets do. Basically what I'm saying is, you need a new PC.
You can't just put any video card/ processor with any mother board, and if your PC is old, you won't find any newer compatible parts to go with your motherboard/processor.
So just buy a new PC, or build your own.

Sorry to say but, I've had that happen before. Your Hard-Drive is not big enough to withstand Minecraft Sorry to be the one who tells you.
The weird thing is, it worked before...
At least I'm getting a newer version of Windows soon...
