MINECRAFT WONT LOAD
When I try to load any type of minecraft, regular, snapshot, and modded, I ]push the big play button. It says preparing like normal, and then it goes to the loading screen for minecraft. It loads for a little bit, then it just stops. I've tryed waiting for hours, but it just stays there. I've also tried restarting my computer. I dont know what else to do. Please help.

I assume you are using the Vanilla launcher ? These sort of issues can arise with using it. I gave up with Vanilla a long time ago.
I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but really, it'll make things much easier for you.
If you are willing to try an alternative minecraft launcher, you could try the MultiMC launcher available here : https://multimc.org/
Install it, run it, right-click on the empty window and choose 'create instance', choose the minecraft version from the list that pops up and then run the instance. You will be asked to put account details in just before it'll run - this is a safe launcher to use, it does not work unless you have purchased a minecraft account. If you want to add Forge, here is a small document (open with Wordpad) which shows how to do that.

... all you have to do then is put your mods in the mods folder for the instance you just created and launch the instance.
MultiMC is much better in my opinion at keeping all the files in each instance of minecraft seperated so that issues like you are having don't occur.

Is the vanilla launcher the one with the grass block on it?

Okay so I downloaded the MultiMC but it just showed up as I file. I don't know if thats what you meant by running it. Sorry if I sound dumb, I'm new to all this stuff.

Have you checked for updates? (Computer and Minecraft updates)
How much storage do you have left, if it’s not a lot it could not be loading because of that.
Have you tried opening other games on your computer, if not try just see if it works.
Is your computer a older computer?

lol i fixed it all i had to do is go to task manager and end all the minecraft launcher stuff
