This is not new for 5.1. When I go on a world, there's a slight chance that it won't save any changes. I don't understand why it's doing this!
Post if you ever had any similar situations!

I figured out exactly what this bug is. It is not the world that is not saving, it is a specific chunk that will refuse to save for some odd reason. Here is more information on the bug: https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-2548
so what can i do about the CPU?
If the CPU gets to over 80% sometimes java can miss lines of code. This could effect saving.
Or it could even be that minecraft doesn't get enough ram for somereason
Try running this with the minecraft launcher
javaw -Xmx1024m -Xms1024m -jar "C:\Users\atomick86\Desktop\Minecraft\Minecraft.exe"
I just tested it and it works
But you will have to change "atomick86" to your profile name that you are logged into, and the location that the start up is in, for instance, the first minecraft is the folder that minecraft is located in, you may need to either get rid of it, or add in new folder names to get to that location.
