I'm starting a public sever soon, it's going to contain both mods&plugins. What is the best server to use for this I know cauldron, but is there any other good servers that will work with the majority of spigot & bukkit plugins?
And what minecraft version should the server be in? 1.8 or 1.7? What does the majority of player prefer?
