Modded Minecraft will not launch

HI, I was wondering why my modded Minecraft wont launch. If I try to launch any version of Minecraft Forge Below 1.8, it will not launch and there is no error message. Many mods I like the look of are only 1.7.10 and I cannot use them at all. Also, Forge installers will not work or launch. The same applies for Optifine and other installers. This problem started in February or March when I was unable to play on my modded profile. I had to delete it by opening the profiles.json file and removing them that way. Ever since I have only been able to play 1.8 forge. If anybody could help that would be great

(This only works above 1.64 and below 1.8)
if 1.8 isn't working then
go into your Minecraft launcher go to edit profile and check the box that says "Launcher Visibility:" and then choose "Keep the launcher open" and copy and paste everything into a spoiler.
