Modpack problems with Java (Twitch)
Whenever I try to play a modpack, it will launch the jar launcher, but when I click the play button, it tries to start, but it crashes and pops up with the "Ignoring option PermSize; support was removed in 8.0" report on game output (full report) . And on Twitch settings/Minecraft/Java it says Java wasn't on the system, and when I download java, it still doesn't recognize it as installed.

Since the launcher in braindead, the reason I use multimc, you need to tell it where java is installed at in the settings, also ignore permgen
