1.5 Mods Compatible?
No, I do know how to install mods. What I don't know is if 1.5 mods are compatible with 1.5.1. I tried updating my Minecraft but it said there was an error inside my
minecraft.jar file. The mods I have installed: Optifine, Zan's Minimap, and SPC. I don't see a reason why this shouldn't work...

Optifine's 1.5.1 update preview is up, but I don't know about Zan's and SPC. If they aren't updated for 1.5.1, they won't work. Since 1.5.1 does, indeed, still change some code, it breaks the mods.
Not all mods, most should work.
Had SPC running in 1.5, can't seem to get it to work in 1.5.1. Not running any other mods. Probably need to wait a few days for SPC to be updated.
1.5 mods should be perfectly fine with 1.5.1, if they don't work, you messed something up.
Actually, 1.5 mods still need to be updated. There was never anything stated that mods and such wouldn't need to be updated. Although I seem to be able to play on servers in both versions...
