Hey all.
I've recently tried to download 2 mods: "My People" and "Voxelmap". They were downloaded onto my computer, and I put them in the .minecraft folder. Now, I saw this one video, and it said that when you download a mod, below the "Options" button on the start screen, there should be a button that says "Mods".
I logged onto my game, and that button didn't show up. Am I doing something wrong? All help is appreciated!

Okay, so I've downloaded the Forge installer, but every time I click "Install client", I get an error message saying "You must run the 1.7.2 version manually at least once". What does this mean?

Correction, Mods will not install. Just create a mods folder and put them in there. I believe those mods either need liteloader of forge.
