More server help

Hello I recently posted on asking how to transfer my server to my other computer and got some feedback about people telling me to not use himatchi. However, I have tried everything and done everything right to my knowing. On another gaming website called neoseeker I literally stumped the administrator of the minecraft forum section on why people could not join my server. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have port-forwarded cprrectly and i have current java plus i had someone else configure the server for me and we launched it to see if it could work and it did. But when I when I tried to launch it nobody could join. If you have a solution as to where I do not need to use himachi I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for reading and I hope you can help.
