Move Minecraft completely to a different drive?

So I just got a new laptop. With a 256gb ssd and a 1tb hdd and I have Windows on my SSD while installing all my apps onto my HDD. No problems so far. until i tried to install minecraft. When downloading the launcher I moved it to the correct drive only for it to store itself into my SSD. And now all my game downloads go into there despite me changing the directory to the HDD

use multimc and put it on the drive you want since the dafault launcher puts it in app data with no way to change easily
