I tried to install a music texture pack for 1.16.5 and after that I placed it in the resource pack folder, but when I launched the game the texture pack never showed up.
It would be nice if anyone could help me with this problem.

(These are called resourcepacks now, since they're not only textures anymore)
Check the resourcepack file structure, it should be like this:
resourcepack.zip/resourcepack folder
|
assets
pack.mcmeta
pack.png
And not like this:
resourcepack.zip/resourcepack folder
|
another resourcepack folder
|
assets
pack.mcmeta
pack.png
Sometimes resourcepack creators do this common mistake and package whole resourcepack folder instead of it's content.

And how do I fix it? I tried fixing it, but that didn't go well at all
By setting correct folder and file structure. Alternatively give me the link to the resourcepack you have problem with and I will do required fixes for you if possible.
