So the /mute command dosnt work and yes i already gave them the perm to it.

Ok thanks for the answer everyone i got it to work. The thing is before when i had it on 1.7 it wasnt /emute but now it apperently is /emute so for everyone who has the same problem just try /emute before posting a thread like me sry for my stupidness!

If its a problem that doesn't reset when you restart the server you need to delete the folder and jar of the plugin and redownload it

I have never heard of this command. Why would you want to use it? Can't you just turn the master volume to 0 in the sound settings?

It's a server command, which disallows a player (which is specified in the command, /mute [player]) to speak in chat and message.
Are said player in the right group? Perhaps try adding yourself to said group, deoping yourself (if you are OP and can get op back) and trying the command. Which plugins are you using, may I ask?
