My Gold farm is having problems

I have made a gold farm (ilmango) but for 1.12.2 but only 2 or 3 pigmen spawn ever, i know this is a very touched upon subject but i wasnt able to find anything useful.
I have my render distance set to 9 chunks.
There is no light
And i have made it on top of the Nether
Does anyone know about what measures i could take to fix my problem?

I've not a clue with why pigmen are not spawning. I've never set up a farm before, but I've never had issues with pigmen not spawning. They're everywhere.
