My map size is too big!
I cant upload a mc map because the file size is "too large" how do I get the file smaller?

Try using MediaFire to upload large files

if ur on a recent version you can do this:
Method 1 : Minecraft
1 Select your world and then click "edit"
2 Click on "optimize world"
Method 2 : WinRAR
You can also do this when you compress something with WinRAR (like your world folder) :
in Winrar, open your "saves" directory and click on your world folder then do this
Choose "best" and the zip size will be very small but be carefull, setting this on "best" will take some time!

Sadly i don't have WinRAR and its still so big thx though (when optimising!)
Isn't WinRAR free though? Also (Just realized that this was said later) you can use mediafire for larger files.
If u already uploaded others things it can be ur PMC account wich ran out of storage space
Just download WinRAR or 7zip. Both can compress to a small size. Try to remove useless chunks with MCEdit if it's extremely high.
