My nether doesn't work

I was in the nether portal and accidentally pressed E. Since then I have never been able to enter the nether. Version 1.19.0 with mods.

update your game, im pretty sure this was an actual bug that got patched

If you have no progress in the nether, you should just be able to delete the dim2 file and that should reset the nether.
