So about a day or so, i wanted to bring in some nostalgia by installing PureBD Craft, but after applying it ingame, it not only crashed my launcher, it BSOD'ed my PC, i installed x512 and x216 versions of the pack for diffrent version of the game, but it still crashed. I know how to turn it off, but i still want to play with it, got any ideas how to fix this?

Is the texture pack the same addition you are playing on? If not, you might need to either update Minecraft, or play in an older version.

What are the specs of your PC? 512x is quite intense, especially with a good render distance, and you definitely need an above-average PC to run stuff like that smoothly. Also, was a crash report generated by Minecraft? If so, post that as well.

I've a nice Gaming rig and 512 lags it so try lower res maybe x128.

Try 128x versions if they have them. 512x loads 262144 pixels per block. That's probably making your PC have a mental breakdown.

Do you know your PC specs by any chance?

i dunno much about texture packs and computers, but x512 and x216 is a lot of pixels to have in a texture pack. That might've caused the BSOD because the texture pack was too powerful for your PC. You might want to consider packs within x16 and x128 (which is less powerful than the other two versions).

again i dont know much about texture packs, so i may not be right about this. i hope this helps ^^
