So one of my players reported that their house had been griefed. Two admins rolled it back and checked it out, but they didn't find anyone tied to it (we run coreprotect to log griefing). Stranger still is that the house was protected by Residence and claimed only in that person's name.
So basically, someone's house has a large chunk out of it without any possibility that a player griefed it. Could this be some kind of rollback conflict (we recently did a rollback on a different structure) or is this some kind of fluke, or what?
Server info: Bukkit 1.7.10, running Coreprotect and Residence to prevent griefing.

Here is two scenarios I can think of, you restarted the server during a creeper explosion at that spot. If some event is fired and not all players and objects are stopped before the actual stop and save, then events can fire and bypass protections. Really rare but can happen. Other scenario is that a player did grief it but the grief was too old or not saved correctly which means coreprotect doesn't register it. CoreProtect also removes information that gets too old. Third scenario is that an OP did it because they are not always Logged.
