Name Tags Plugin
Hi there! Now, I saw a couple servers where player's name tags do not change if they are longer than 16 characters. I have tried plugins like Nametags, NametagsAPI, NametagEdit, but they stick to that " 16-Characters rule". But I know for a fact some servers have no limit, or a higher limit, because me, I have a 15 character name "theDigitalGhost", and it didn't change in any way on some servers, besides in color.
One example is pvp gontoller @ pvp.gontroller.com , they have yellow names, but it does not affect length. Most servers, your'e name just loses it's last characters.
Is this a custom plugin, or what? If it is, maybe some awesome coder could make one? Anyways, please comment if you know any plugins similar to what I needed. Good luck everyone, have a nice day.

Would plugin authors be able to update this?
Some new APIs involving nametags were opened up (IE the health bar plugin(s)) allowing this to happen. The previous plugin's limitations were because the protocol wouldn't allow anything longer.
They've probably written a plugin that puts the players in a sort of sneak mode and then just sends info about where to draw the new nametag. I don't program, but I would imagine that this wouldn't be very hard.
