I attempted to forward my port on 25565 and when i ran the server i received this message ****FAILED TO BIND TO PORT perhaps a server is already running on that
port? What do i do

just change the port to something else. for example 25577. if its home hosted you may need to fix your port forwarding

Well the error message says the problem itself, you most likely have another program/server running on that same port.
