I am making a towny server but everytime I install towny it messes up my ign prefix and repeats it several times! does anyone know how to fix this I use PEX!

Make sure that you don't have TownyChat.jar installed.
Or any other chat plugin other than the main one you use.

Yep make sure you dont have that installed, then check your essentials chat defaults. A foreign chat plugin can trigger it to change.
that is strange because I just installed Towny on my server and the prefixes stayed unchanged.
