.....That's just really really weird..... It shouldn't even come close to the thing that loads the chunks..... I recommend you find a new mod for what you want to have in minecraft.
I really cant because its like this with all 1.7.2 mods so far. But not 1.6.4
The way to install something depends on what mod you want:
- A mod that is supported by Forge (look it up)
- A mod that isn't supported by Forge
The first one is easy:
-Download the corresponding version of Forge (same mc version as your mod is using)
-Install it (will start when you open the Forge file you downloaded)
-Open up your mc launcher
-Select the new profile created by Forge
-Run mc
-Close mc
-Put the mod-file into the 'mods' folder (Search for %appdata%, go to .minecraft and you'll see the mods folder in there). No need to unzip I think
-Run minecraft with the Forge profile
-Enjoy your mod!
Second one is a bit harder:
-Open the new launcher and make sure the version of Minecraft the mod requires is already installed.
-Click "Edit Profile" in the launcher, then open the game directory. (the .minecraft file again at %appdata%)
-Go into the subfolder "versions".
-Copy the version your mod requires
-Rename this copy to something else. (like MODDED)
-Open this 'MODDED' folder
-Rename "x.x.x.jar" to "MODDED.jar". (or any other name you picked)
-Rename "x.x.x.json" to "MODDED.json". (or any other name you picked)
-Open "MODDED.json" with a text editor and replace "id":"x.x.x" with "id":"MODDED", -save the file and close it.
-Open the file from the mod you want with an archiver such as WinRAR or 7-Zip and copy-paste the files into MODDED.jar. Do not close the archiver yet.
-Delete META-INF and close the archiver.
-Start the new launcher.
-Click "New Profile"
-In "Use Version", select "MODDED".
-Click Save Profile.
-Login and play as normal.

I installed it like that, the glitch is still here, The mod works perfectly fine though.
Try installing it manually... way more reliable if you know what you are doing.
..I have completely no idea how to, The only mod i've ever been able to install on 1.7.2 without installers was pixelmon, because its easy. Although I could install Pixelmon manually see if its the installer.
Edit: Doesn't work either.

Try removing it from the mods folder is the glitch still there?
My minecraft is perfectly fine without mods on it.. But on any 1.7.2 mod it will be like that. But not on 1.6.4
It's a strange issue you're having, damage indicators as far as I know shouldn't cause that graphical glitch normally. I suggest trying to re-install the mod and see if that helps, if not you could try manually installing the mod.
Bump
Still doesnt work! Bump~
that's just a free xray gratz
It isnt.. It even makes ores invisible.. So yeah
that's just a free xray gratz
I used a skydaz installer...
I wouldn't know then. I've always installed my mods manually.
Hmmm.... did you delete META-INF in the versions folder? A damage indicator shouldn't mess with chunk generation, as far as I know.
