Can ANYONE teach me to make a simple bukkit server for others to join? I really want to play with my friends but need help making a server. Simple instructions will be fine.

Well if you just want to play with friends, I'd personally suggest making a Minecraft Realms server, a new project from Mojang. It's really simple, and you can play with lots of friends! It's only $13 per month.
