I NEED HELP!
Ahhhh! I'm trying to make my brother a server with plugins to prevent greif because the last server he had got grieved while he was whatching and since he had no plugins he couldn't do anything but cry to his older brother to make it stop. I have tried and tried essentials, permissions, iconomy, and even factions but he only thing I can get to work is factions. I am so screwed because I want to beat the crap out of the greifed who grieved my bros server beyond belief right in front of his face while my brother is screaming nd crying for me to make it stop. I need help someone pleaseeee help me with plugins

There are many plugins to prevent/roll back grief. I'll list a few..
If you are looking just to prevent it for certain players, you can use PreciousStones... I've used this for a while now and trust me, it's amazing..
- McBans (Used to local/global ban griefers, not really to prevent/rollback)
- HawkEye
- WorldGuard
- WorldEdit (Required for WorldGuard)

Well I would highly suggest you get world guard and world edit. That will allow you to stop griefing at spawn. Also if you want it to be a no griefing server you should get logblock, but first you would need to set up a mysql server which is very simple if you follow the directions on the page. My last suggestion would be mcbans (or just essentials.) so if someone does grief you will be able to ban them on the spot.
You could just get an admin that knows /kick or /ban...
