Need help downgrading...

So I wanted to join a server today, but it was 1.5.2. I put my old minecraft.jar in there, but the new launcher said no . Can anyone Help?

hey actually I think you can downgrade with the new launcher click edit profile on the laucncher you'll figure out the rest

Hopefully they will update the server. So you will just have to wait awhile
