Need help making an dome!
The title says it all: How do I make an glass dome over my building? It needs to be reaaaaally large, but I have tools ready for use if I need them. (Like MCEdit or Worldedit)
But it is a single problem with world edit: My server crashes when I make the dome.

Add AsyncWorldedit to your plugins along with WorldEdit. Your server will not crash.

with mcedit it's easy
make the round you need in an other block you need
cut a half, et copi/past this half you need
take the filter "topsoil" put the block you need with "deph 1"
take all you work and replace the other block by air and it's good.

in filter (the coffee) you got a list, and topsoil i'ts the last.

A dome not an sphere. And the world needs an dome 100x bigger than the max of Plotz.

i think he means a semi dome for like hunger games. If your making a map i thought the people you give the map build the dome around it .

3) Stand in the center and type this with WorldEdit installed:

if your server crashes, the making of the dome takes up too much memory. do you have the possibility to download your world? if so, install singleplayer commands and use the worldedit that comes with that, then upload the world back onto your server.
alternatively, try to get more memory available.

Error message? None. My server freezes and I get kicked and the server is not responding anymore, forcing me to restart, and the dome is not there. The server is hosted at my own computer, so yes, I can move it to single player at any time I want.
Sorry can't help with that.
