Need help making a server!

Guys when you do a hamachi server you need to have good connection for the host and a direct tunnel to the ones in your network. And when you port forward its a bit more complicated you can do it on mac and pc with any modem or router you just need to know the model. well i mean iv used hamachi but like when ever my friends try to connect they cant for some reasone even when the joined my network on hamachi
