Need Help Now
This is a Support Ticket I sent to my server host 3 days ago, and they haven't replied. Please can you tell me how to fix it?

I need help, I asked for my dedicated IP to be activated, and it was, and now the server won't turn on! Please help!
I get this:

It is possible that by accident two instances are running.... Did you look at your processes to make sure that a lingering old process is not running and causing the conflict?
I am sure, it would tell me on MultiCraft
Oh and if it helps, my host is called MCPowerHosting
Okay, So I entered the server.properties in FTP file access, and changed the port, like this

Then I went back to the home page and I realised the port was fixed on the page, and you couldn't edit it, like this

Then I started it up and I got the same error, and It looked like what I did with the port didnt do anything at all:

Then finally I went back to the server.properties and the port had changed back to 25710! Any Idea how I can fix this?

At server.properties I think the port is there
Okay Im going to try and change it now.
That means there is another service running on that port possibly your host has failed and put 2 servers running at the same port.
I bought a dedicated IP then they said they activated it. It was working before that.
dedicated IP means the server to be running at port 25565 maybe the host did an error and forgot that there was another dedicated server on the same machine.
Alright, do you reckon I can change the port through FTP or something? It uses the MultiCraft control panel.
