Need help setting up bukkit server

So I got as far as the run.bat part and I ran it. All the files were created successfully. Problem is I need help port forwarding. I have the Linksys wrt300n. I used the tool to get myself a static IP. So can someone help me please?

I've run a server for about 2-3 years now. Are you running it from your computer desktop or a dedicated/vps server?
