I have this glitch that happens quite often where when I try to lead up a new world it just won't load. And some times the game just won't let me open or kill or pick up anything. Is anyone expiring something similar or does anyone have some kind of help. The only way to fix it is to turn my computer off completely as the game wont close otherwise. I'm gonna try deleting and installing minecraft and the launcher but I'd appreciate advice in case that doesn't help as I just got the game about a week ago.

did u try to optimize ur world?
In ur world list click on the world and then use edit. There u have some options like optimize which can help speed it up. but make sure to make a backup first!

If the program doesn't close and block lag happens when u get into the world, it sounds like you have a potato as a computer.

It's not really lag so to say. It's more like the game completely freezes and shuts down but the tab just wont close? Its sorta hard to explain.
Can you do other stuff in your PC while it happens?
Yeah. I decided to run it on my older computer and it seems to work fine. I think it might just be my new computer so :/ I'll probably try it again whenever the next update is
