Need help with custom maps not appearing in world saves.
I recently downloaded a few custom maps.
I dragged the .rar to my saves folder in .minecraft, extracted it, and then dragged the empty .rar file to my recycle bin. The downloaded folders appear in the .minecraft saves folder, but when I open Minecraft and go to Single Player, they aren't there.
What did I do wrong?

Worlds are only playable if it is in a file format.
Open up the folder. If you see stuff like this, then it is a world file.
level.dat
data
dim-1
If you don't see files that look like that, then it is not a world file. If you do and it still does not work in-game, the world might be glitched. If it shows a ton of random folders, it is an old format of a world.

I can only play SkyBlock survival because normal MInecraft is way too laggy for my crappy laptop that overheats every 15 minutes I play Minecraft.
